That's the late John Avinger. AKA the "Big Guy." He passed away about two years ago. His wife Angie still runs the SCB&G.
Hopefully there is no objection to me using this image. The similarity between me and the big guy is uncanny. I will remove the picture is someone objects. Thanks for your post. I was in Charleston last November and wanted to go to the Shem Creek Bar and Grill but something came up and I ended up leading my team through some production problems and skipping dinner that night.
